Biodiesel is an alternative fuel which is most often made from soybean
oil, but can also be produced using other forms of renewable resources.
Although it can be used in its purest form, it is normally blended with
petroleum diesel before being used in diesel engines. Either way, little
or no engine modifications are required before biodiesel can be used. To
insure its optimal performance biodiesel must be produced to meet
industry standards set forth in ASTM D6751.
